Sunburned using Future Fluid

I loved the application and feel, but I got sunburned while wearing when I’m certain that I wouldn’t have been burned using one of my regular mineral sunscreens from Avene or La Roche. I‘m an Australian living in Europe and feel really let down that I got burned using this.

Worth trying if you are on the hunt for mineral

I never leave reviews but thought I would for this as it’s so hard to find a good mineral sunscreen. I have really sensitive skin and perioral dermatitis but didn’t have any of the issues some of the negative reviews mentioned in terms of stinging / reaction. It’s got a nice bright luminous finish under makeup. Very thin and watery texture as others say. Just takes a minute to dry before you can put makeup on as goes on quite wet. Because of this I’ve found can reapply with a brush over makeup surprisingly well. It’s similar to the Rationale #3 sunscreen which I love but cannot justify because of price - just without the bit of shimmer it has. Only negative is if you were very fair this might be too dark. I am a light/medium (eg sandstone in Merit) and it’s great colour wise.

Genuinely worth it

I have super oily, acne-prone skin and was on the lookout for a good mineral sunscreen as I usually react to chemical sunscreens on my face. I find most mineral sunscreens to be suuuper greasy, uncomfortable to wear, or they pill. This one has been fantastic though as it’s lightweight and actually keeps my oily skin at bay throughout the day. It does go on a little greasy but it settles quite nicely. Makeup also goes on well. I personally only put on moisturiser underneath, then the sunscreen, then makeup. I don’t think this is waterproof though so I wouldn’t recommend it for a beach day, but it is an excellent everyday sunscreen, especially for those with oily skin.

Disappointed

Really not what I expected. Actually found this more matte than the matte screen. Also the tint looks fine initially but turned my face orange (I am pale though). It does go on smooth and blurs pores though. Don’t like how it feels on my skin so probably won’t be finishing it

Not for pale skin!

I bought this recently and while I like the texture the colour is so orange! I’m quite pale and this looked awful on me, way too orange. It’s annoying because it’s quite expensive and I do think it should be flagged that this really isn’t suitable for paler skin tones. The texture is nice but it did cling to dry patches and is a bit sticky for me. I will say it didn’t make my eyes sting or water which is something I usually find with SPF.

Love it!

I love future fluid. I always used lean screen but living in Darwin this is so lightweight for our hot and humid climate and leaves my skin looking fresh. Definitely my new favourite!

Lovely texture but dried out my oily skin

I usually use lean screen but was tempted by a lighter finish with less stickiness. The finish is much more elegant but every time I use this sunscreen I get dry peeling skin around my nose and on my chin. And I have seriously oily skin so this is not usual for me. I’ve given 3 goes, each time waiting until my skin settles and then trying again. It’s a shame because it’s a great product otherwise

Wanted to love it

I was hoping for a good zinc based sunscreen from UV due to sensitive skin. But this is little bit to fluid for my likes. I find it too thin, and hard to apply. I prefer the consistency of Queen Screen.

Great product but not perfect for me

Love the consistency and packaging. Gave me a slight cast (i have brown skin). I had slight dryness after using as well but I'm going to continue. Great product but i prefer others.
