Love this brush. It blends well and has worked out well for my liquid foundations.

#109 HD Skin Foundation Brush - a hard No

I have a number of make up for ever brushes and I love them, but not this one. The angled edges on the #109 foundation brush are sharp, and with the short bristles (which most of us want for foundation application), this brush scratched my face the few times I've used it. Also, the bristles absorb too much of my foundation. I will attempt a return.

Replacement for your beauty sponge!

A remarkable foundation brush, the best I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried so many! This has replaced my beauty sponge. It is so soft, flexible and provides a streak free application of foundation. I was debating between this and the one from It Cosmetics, but I’m very satisfied I chose this one!

Best foundation brush

This one smooths the foundation so well. Spreads it around evenly without absorbing a bunch of product.

the peaky angle is annoying and streaks

This is a very soft-bristled brush that covers a lot of skin real estate in a short period. However, I have a small face and the angled bristles that end in a peak aren't dense enough to hold their shape. My foundations streak with this angled brush. I would have loved to love it but it wasn't meant to be. I'm sure this brush is great for big faces but it just didn't do anything for me.

Believe the hype

I typically opt for a beauty blender when doing my base, but this brush is magic - seamless foundation application (I use DM’s Yummy Skin Tint) and it blends like a dream.

I was always a beauty blender girl but I bought this brush because of the Laura Mercier foundation I thought THIS was the viral brush (it isn't) but its SO amazing I'm glad I trusted the reviews on here its crazy good

Not sure what the hype about this brush is. I mean it is soft but applies foundation streaky and absorbs a lot of the foundation. I did only use it with the ilia skin tint so maybe it is best used with thicker product

Phenomenal Brush

The best brush I’ve ever owned. Foundation goes on flawless. The bristles are nice and soft. I used a liquid foundation and it actually doesn’t stay on the brush as all the other ones.

5 stars right out of the box. It made my foundation go on smoothly and did not soak up the product. But after you wash it a couple of times, it does change the structure of the bristles depending on what cleaning product you use.

A must-have for a flawless application!

I never write reviews. I know, I know. Everyone says that. But I swear, every time I use this brush I always think to myself, “I need to write a review!” This brush is amazing. It creates a flawless foundation application and feels like it makes the process more efficient! I was a makeup sponge girlie, but no more! This brush is the breed knees.
