I find this product to be really oily and sticky-feeling. Not a nice feeling. At this price point, I would expect more.

The best Vit C I’ve ever tried!!

Yes, this serum has a slightly weird smell and does tint your skin slightly orange (so only wear it at night or under some concealer if you’re wearing it in the day) but holy moly my skin has never looked so bright! I’ve tried so many expensive vitamin C serums in the past and this is the first one that has made such an impressive, noticeable change in my skin’s appearance. I’ve been using with the Dr Dennis Gross vit C lactic dewy cream and the duo together is truly *chef’s kiss*

Truly a Gross product

Ok I have to laugh.. I’ve been sticking to this product because of how $$ it was and after listening to Dr Dennis Gross speak on it on The skinny confidential he had me sold. Super interesting actually. But every time I put it on I’m horrified. It smells like soy sauce it’s sticky and my face turns orange. Today I thought out of curiosity to look at reviews and I’m laughing that other people compared it to soy sauce too. I’m worried that my product has gone bad or maybe it was just always .. “Gross”

If you want an orange face, buy this.

Used this product and it colored my skin orange!! My hands and face are orange and the product is sticky and smelly. DO NOT BUY.

Ready for the chocolate factory

I got the small sample before I commit to the big one. It’s brown and smells like soy sauce. I thought it was a joke. I still put it on and it turned my skin orange. No matter how much I rubbed it never blended. To the trash it goes

STAINED MY SKIN ORANGE! BEWARE!!! Gross, looks bad, smells bad, I should have known better than to put this on my FACE?! Oops

Should have picked a different "free" sample

Was excited to try a free sample (with purchase of course) but it arrived completely black. Wasn't sure how it should look and tried some on my skin - turned it dark orange. I didn't realize until I read other reviews that if it's turned black, it's gone bad. What a waste.!

It’s brown?!

Ew. Just got a sample bottle. Why is it brown? Looks like soy sauce and stains my skin. No thank you.

Must Have

The best vitamin c serum I ever used, it great for dry skin, and layers well with everything. My skin was noticeably brighter/more even, and my skin barrier is so much stronger I barely break out

Not for everyone

I see many people with fair to medium skin have complained about the texture and feel of this serum, and that it makes their skin dark and dull. I have had a very similar experience with this product and wouldn't buy it again. But I think it should work well for those with darker skin. At least that's what the reviews suggest.

Yuk. It’s brown which may or may not be okay for vitamin c serum, but the smell is too much.

This product is terrible. It oxidizes very fast on my skin and left it greasy, and even more darker than it is. Usually I got glowy skin after my full face routine, but after using this serum, I hated how it leaves my skin. It’s also very pricey
